At Phone Repair Canberra by Techbox Technology, we are committed to providing top-quality repair services and ensuring customer satisfaction. However, we understand that there may be instances where you may need a refund or resolution. Please carefully review our refund policy outlined below.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Unsuccessful Repair: If we are unable to successfully repair your device after a thorough attempt, you may be eligible for a refund, excluding any diagnostic fees and the cost of any parts ordered specifically for your repair.
- Reoccurrence of the Issue: If the issue repaired reoccurs within 3 days of the service date, you are eligible for a free re-repair or a refund.
- Incorrect Diagnosis: If a misdiagnosis leads to an improper repair, we will either re-perform the service free of charge or issue a refund, depending on the circumstances.
- Defective Parts: All parts replaced come with a 3-day warranty. If the part fails within this period, we will replace it at no additional cost or refund the cost of the part.
Non-Refundable Services
- Diagnostic Fees: Diagnostic fees are non-refundable as they cover the cost of evaluating and assessing the issue with your device.
- Labor Costs: Refunds are not issued for labor costs if the repair was completed successfully and the device functioned properly for at least 3 days after the repair.
- Third-Party Parts: Refunds are not provided for repairs using third-party parts unless the part itself is defective within the 3-day warranty.
Refund Process
- To request a refund, please contact us within 3 days of your repair service, providing your invoice number, service details, and reason for the refund request.
- Refund requests will be processed within 5 business days upon verification of eligibility.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. The time it takes to receive your refund may vary depending on your payment provider.
Exclusions
Refunds are not issued in the following cases:
- Beyond Repair Devices: If a device is damaged beyond repair and you choose to proceed with the repair attempt, no refund will be issued if the repair is unsuccessful.
- Illegal Devices: We do not service or refund repairs for devices involved in illegal activities, such as stolen or fraudulent devices. These cases are reported to local authorities.
- Customer-Induced Damage: Additional damage caused by the customer after the repair, including water damage, drops, or any form of misuse, will void eligibility for a refund or warranty claim.
Return of Parts
If a full refund is granted, any parts replaced during the repair must be returned to Phone Repair Canberra by Techbox Technology in the same condition as they were provided. Failure to return the parts will result in the deduction of their cost from the refund amount.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for devices sent to us for repair are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
